The three candidates are Fernando Torres of Liverpool and Spain, winner of Euro 2008, Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United and Portugal, winner of the UEFA Champions League and Barclay’s Premier League, and Lionel Messi of FC Barcelona and Argenina, Olympic Gold Medalist.

Messi’s segment is longer because of his style of play. His clips are longer because he does long dribbles and therefore, he gets a longer part. Torres’ part is the shortest because his dribbles are short and his goals are instant, but there still are a lot of clips covering his 2008 campaign. Finally, Ronaldo is in between the two. His dribbling is not as long as Messi, but it is longer than Torres. Likewise, with goals, the moments before his goals are not as long as Messi but are still longer than Torres.
